9.20.90 is great from front to back. This might be the very best post-Brent show out there.

I'd agree with 9.19.90 too, but the 20th I think is slightly better.

I like them all.

Check out DP 9 and 17 if you have them layin around.

The Garden shows were always good to the last DROP!

9/19/90 - While this is a generally lauded show and not a "hidden gem", I am partial to Hornsby's playing during his first few shows with the band. He's playing to prove himself and help resurrect the group. Anyway, this is an all-around excellent show. Hornsby shines throughout, trading licks with Jerry (they really inspire each other to raise the bar on this, and many other, occasions). Excellent Jerry, Bobby, Bruce jam out of Let It Grow into Drums.

my first reaction is 12/10/89, bruce was a guest. the jack straw and china rider were unforgettable. his jam on cold rain and snow and promise land on 9/3/91 were also pretty smokin'.

Check out the 3-31 and 4-1 Greensboro Shows from 1991 for some great Bruce Shows. Those were the his frist shows of the Spring Tour and he was fired up to be playing w/ them again.
